Not my confession, but I quite agree. It also should be noted that Marianne’s “version” is the original, and that she wrote it. It was released as a single in 1969, but taken off of the shelves after three days because it was deemed inappropriate. For “Sticky Fingers” Keith and Mick simply put their names on the lyrics and hers was omitted for decades until she won a legal battle to at least get co-writing credit.
